This afternoon, the Gaddy Group met at Jill Hyde's home. It was so delightful to relax on her beautifully adorned deck, visit with one another, and enjoy summertime treats -- thirst-quenching iced tea, sweet grapes, strawberries, and yummy cookies.
Annie Gaddy introduced her friend Kathy Hunter. Kathy is a local artist and a member of the Boulder Art Association. To view her website, click here. It was fun getting to know Kathy and sharing with her why we love our Just Incredible P.E.O. Chapter JI!
The blessing bag ("pouch") was passed as we expressed "Sharings and Carings" with one another. Money donated to the "pouch" totaled $105, all of which goes to funding the chapter's "Bright Futures Scholarships" (available to young women in their senior year of high school).
It was hot and sunny and my umbrellas kept blowing over, yet we had a fantastic time. Lots of laughs and plenty of P.E.O. discussion! I froze flour sack towels (that's what Annie has on her neck)...to keep us cool. We enjoyed meeting our guest Kathy, and missed our other members who were either traveling or quarantined due to COVID exposure. ❤️ Jill
