"Group Gaddy" -- Quarterly Connection Gathering

Selfie-Taker: Jill Hyde (foreground) -- Clockwise: Joyce Kozeliski, Vicky Hughes, Judy Lawrence, Roberta Meyer, Group Captain Annie Gaddy, Maggie McDonnell

The “Gaddy Group plus 2” met for our second Quarterly Connection. This was our Valentine’s Day gathering, so we enjoyed red mocktails (cranberry juice and berry sparking water), while we ate scrumptious Goldrush brownies (Annie’s family recipe is below) and Valentines candy. Before we parted, we passed the Blessing Bag. What a delightful afternoon.

Goldrush Brownies

Melt 2 sticks of butter.

Add and mix into melted butter:

1.5 cups crushed graham crackers

1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened condensed milk

1 cup coconut

1 cup nuts (I like walnuts)

1 cup chocolate chips

Bake in 9x13 pan at 325 for about 30 min until center is firm and brownies begin to crisp and pull away from sides of the pan.
