Background (L-R): Hostess Marguerite Lipton, Lyn Dwornik, Kathie Burson, Geneva Fisher

It was so nice to get together with Sisters this morning!

Thank you, Marguerite Lipton, for inviting us into your lovely home for great conversation and delicious "nibbles!"

The blessing bag was passed as we expressed "Sharings and Carings" with one another. Money donated totaled $70, all of which goes to funding the chapter's "Bright Futures Scholarships" (available to young women in their senior year of high school).

Petroff Group Quarterly Connection Visiting on the Patio

Foreground (L-R): Belinda Alkula, Roberta Meyer, Annette Oakley
Background (L-R): Linda Petroff, Tanya Lynn, Maggie McDonnell, Beth Herbert

Thanks to group captain, Linda Petroff, we had a table on the patio of Lucille's Creole Cafe in Erie. (Linda arrived one hour early to snag our table!)

Sisters were honored by Beth Herbert joining us today! It is so much fun to get to know her! And we really appreciated her treating us to a plate of the cafe's specialty -- beignets! Yummy!

Sisters shared "blessings" with one another, and money was raised for the chapter's "Bright Futures Scholarships" (available to young women in their senior year of high school).

Update on Kayden, Grandson of Marguerite Lipton

Kayden

Formula Kayden Needs

Kayden was born this past March in Sulfuric, Louisiana. Marguerite's daughter and her husband are over-the-moon about the arrival of their baby boy! Marguerite is a proud grandmother!

A few days ago, Marguerite sent an email to the Sisters in our chapter, asking for help locating the baby formula he needs. Given the national shortage of it right now, availability is severely limited. Marguerite really appreciates everyone being on the look-out for it. She is grateful that her P.E.O. Sister, Annette Oakley, was able to help locate it. P.E.O. Sisterly Love knows no bounds!

P.E.O. Love Finds a Way!

L-R: Linda Petroff and Marylee Zurick

Linda Petroff and family are on vacation. While on vacation, they dropped by to see Marylee Zurick, who moved to the Austin, Texas, area earlier this year. Even when a P.E.O. Sister moves away, there is nothing that will stop a Sister from going "out of her way" to stop by for a visit!

On Facebook, Marylee commented, "FYI, Sisters, that's what your hair looks like when it's 108 degrees with 40% humidity. Thank God for headbands!"

L-R: Belinda Alkula and Jan Smith

Annie Gaddy

Honored Guest: Kathy Hunter (Annie Gaddy's Friend)

Beautiful Flowers!

This afternoon, the Gaddy Group met at Jill Hyde's home. It was so delightful to relax on her beautifully adorned deck, visit with one another, and enjoy summertime treats -- thirst-quenching iced tea, sweet grapes, strawberries, and yummy cookies.

Annie Gaddy introduced her friend Kathy Hunter. Kathy is a local artist and a member of the Boulder Art Association. To view her website, click here. It was fun getting to know Kathy and sharing with her why we love our Just Incredible P.E.O. Chapter JI!

The blessing bag ("pouch") was passed as we expressed "Sharings and Carings" with one another. Money donated to the "pouch" totaled $105, all of which goes to funding the chapter's "Bright Futures Scholarships" (available to young women in their senior year of high school).
