We so appreciate members of our Communications Committee for orchestrating our drive-by P.E.O. Chapter JI yearbook collection today! In brightly colored yellow gift bags, we found our yearbooks, daisies and delicious daisy- and star-shaped cookies! It was the first time many of us had seen one another in person since last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What a joyful reunion we had! While there, we enjoyed hot chocolate, tea and cookies with one another. As Joyce Kozeliski said, "It was a cold and rainy morning, but being with our Sisters made us all feel warm and happy!"

Dear Chapter President,

For the past 47 years, The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education has been providing need-based grants to women in the United Stated and Canada. In 2020 the Brighter Tomorrow program was established to give special recognition to chapters for their support of PCE through a lump-sum donation of $500 or more. Thanks to you, PCE continues to assist a diverse group of women whose education has been interrupted and find they need financial assistance to complete a course of study to enable them to better support themselves or their family.

The Board of Trustees of the P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education wishes to sincerely thank you for your generous Brighter Tomorrow donation during the 2020-21 fiscal year. Your contribution enables the trustees to continue awarding grants to qualified applicants.

Honoring Cindy Weber, Outgoing Chapter President!

 

Our chapter donated to the P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education (PCE) in honor of Cindy Weber, our outgoing chapter president. We are grateful for her exemplary leadership, especially for the loving, caring way she shepherded us from in-person meetings to virtual meetings, via Zoom, when the COVID-19 pandemic rendered it unsafe for us to meet in person.
