Heather Hansen gave a wonderful program today at our regular chapter meeting. She is the author of many books. Perhaps our chapter's book club will read and discuss one of them! (If you click on the blue-inked titles of the books above, you can read more about each book.)

Maggie McDonnell invited us to her lovely home for today's chapter gathering. Heather Hansen gave a marvelous program about a few of the many books she has written, to date. (Perhaps our chapter's book club will decide to read one of them!)

- The chapter celebrated that we had two honored guests present with us: Mary Kay Durbin, prospective P.E.O. sister, and Wendy Ahrendt (GB/Boulder).
- All required annual reports were submitted via electronic reporting. (Electronic reporting is a first-time initiative.)
- The annual audit was successfully completed.
- And a new idea was floated -- to create a "making it" group with sisters guiding other sisters in how they create/make things, e.g., knitting/crocheting, birdhouse painting, pie making.
- The meeting concluded with President Belinda Alkula installing our new slate of officers. (Tanya Lynn and Jan Smith will be installed at the next regular chapter meeting.)

"Group McDonnell" Quarterly Connection Gathering

L-R: Belinda Alkula, Kathie Burson, Tanya Lynn, Beth Herbert, Maggie McDonnell

Group Captain Maggie McDonnell orchestrated a fun lunch outing today at the Masters Restaurant at The Colorado National Golf Club. Five sisters enjoyed warm conversations and delicious food on a cold winter's day!

The blessing bag ("pouch") was passed as we expressed "Sharings and Carings" with one another. All donated money supports our chapter's "Bright Futures Scholarship" fund (available to young women in their senior year of high school.) Indeed, blessings abound!

Electronic Reporting of Annual Reports Completed!

Completed by these Just Incredible Officers:
President: Belinda Alkula
Corresponding Secretary: Joyce Kozeliski
Treasurer: Jill Hyde

This month, P.E.O. Chapter JI's president, corresponding secretary, and treasurer completed the first-ever electronic reporting of annual reports. Time period: March 1, 2022, through February 28, 2023.

Information was inputted/verified and digitally signed. After the president’s approval of the membership roster, local chapter dues form, and the IRS-LC form, this information was sent automatically to the state/provincial/district chapter (s/p/d) officers for review. Lastly, the treasurer mailed our chapter dues, along with the local chapter dues form.

All required actions were accomplished by these Just Incredible officers, well before the March 10th deadline! ðŸ§¡
