The Communications Committee orchestrated a lovely luncheon on the covered outdoor patio at the Colorado National Golf Club's Masters Restaurant in Erie today. Picture-perfect weather allowed for a very enjoyable time outside.

Eleven Sisters in our chapter attended this luncheon, and they were happy to welcome our honored guest, Beth Herbert, who recently moved to Colorado. The food was delicious, and the company was delightful! it was so good to spend time together, in person!

Committee Co-chair Joyce Kozeliski gifted each Sister with a white paper bag, and inside was a yellow-tissue-paper-wrapped P.E.O. remembrance from Joyce's attendance at this year's New Mexico State Chapter Convention. Gifts ranged from embroidered cloth napkins to daisy-covered luggage tags. Three tickets were in three of the bags which entitled the bearers to take one of the three table decorations home -- arrangements of daisies in clear-glass vases.

President Belinda Alkula's husband, Dr. Charles Alkula, gifted each Sister a hand-painted flower pot that featured Hi-Chew candy resting on white tissue paper.

Subsequent emails and texts of thanks and appreciation to the members of the chapter's Communications Committee for this social expressed the attendees' gratitude for this special time of enjoying leisurely conversation while having a meal together, while enjoying breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance. It was a day to remember and cherish!
