Group Captain Geneva Fisher orchestrated today's coffee gathering at Coffee Brewing Market in Lafayette, near 95th and Arapahoe. It was so much fun to gather on the outside patio and spend time with one another! We talked about how we met our spouses, how our birth-order shapes our worldview, and our reflections on the 20th anniversary of "9-11." Group Captain Geneva passed around a zippered pouch (our "blessings bag"), into which we deposited a few dollars, as we shared the blessings for which we were so very grateful.
Members of our small group are Geneva Fisher, Belinda Alkula, Kathie Burson, Mary Jean Cardinale and Lyn Dwornik. The only who couldn't be with us was Mary Jean. We decided we would send her "notes of connection" after our gathering.
